YAHUSHA INSIDE THE COVENANT STORY | Are We Following Him? | Episode 7

📖 *YAHUSHA INSIDE THE COVENANT STORY* Is it possible to know a lot about Yahusha... and still not actually follow Him? Welcome to **Episode 7 of the City Assemblies Family Awakening Series**. In the previous episodes, we followed the covenant story through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Israel, the tribes, Egypt, deliverance, Sinai, the divided kingdom, Israel and Judah, scattering, and restoration. Now we ask: *Where does Yahusha enter that story?* Yahusha did not appear in Scripture disconnected from everything Yahuah had already spoken. The promises were already there. The covenant was already there. Israel and Judah were already there. The prophets had already spoken. Restoration had already been promised. 📖 *Jeremiah 31:31* The New Covenant promise names: *The house of Israel* *The house of Judah* Hebrews 8 later repeats that same promise. And that brings us directly to Yahusha. 📖 *Matthew 1:21* Yahusha would save *His people* from their sins. 📖 *Luke 1:30–33* His coming is connected with: • David • The throne • Jacob • The Kingdom 📖 *Luke 1:67–75* Zacharias speaks of: • Redemption • Salvation • The house of David • The prophets • The covenant • The oath made to Abraham 📖 *Romans 15:8* Messiah's ministry confirms promises already made to the fathers. The story did not begin from nothing. *Follow the story.* Then Yahusha begins preaching: 📖 *Matthew 4:17* *Repent.* Repentance is more than feeling sorry. Biblical repentance involves **turning**. That means awakening cannot end with: “I discovered something.” Eventually awakening must ask: *HOW SHOULD I NOW WALK?* Yahusha did not merely gather admirers. He called disciples. A disciple: • Learns • Follows • Is shaped by the teacher • Obeys There is a difference between knowing facts about Yahusha and allowing His teaching to change your life. There is a difference between arguing about Yahusha and obeying Yahusha. And there is a difference between saying we follow Him... and actually walking as His disciples. 🏠 *FAMILY AWAKENING MUST BECOME FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP* Our children hear what we say. But they also watch what we do. If we teach repentance but never admit when we are wrong... they notice. If we teach obedience but refuse correction... they notice. If we talk about awakening while our homes remain unchanged... something is missing. So the question becomes personal: *ARE WE FOLLOWING YAHUSHA?* Not: Can we win an argument? Not: Can we explain what is wrong with someone else's religion? But: *Are we following Him?* 🏠 *FAMILY ALTAR CHALLENGE — EPISODE 7* Read together: 📖 Matthew 1:21 📖 Luke 1:30–33 📖 Luke 1:67–75 📖 Romans 15:8 📖 Matthew 4:17 Then ask: • What promises do these passages connect Yahusha to? • What names from the earlier covenant story appear again? • What does Yahusha call people to do? • What is the difference between knowing facts about Yahusha and actually following Him? Then everyone in the household completes this sentence: *“One area where I need my walk to match what I say I believe is...”* Do not write somebody else's problem. Write yours.
