The Blue - Megahertz Donut

(no AI used) A song about a shipwreck and the allure of giving in to the sea. "Seconds trip, trip, tripping For this listing ship Slipping slowly down its spine And fate is sipping At a fatal clip As we sink into the brine But who can resist the Siren's call? Her chorus whipping Like a pistol grip Chipping sweetly into my mind And sweat is dripping From my upper lip And I'm surely out of time. But the Blue... enraptures me Blue… embraces me The blue... captures me Blue... defaces me Fish are snipping At my fingertips Unzipping me from my rind And my skin is ripping Sharks take a nip Stripping me of what was mine And the Blue... welcomes me The Blue… welcomes me Who….? Can resist? Tell me… who …can resist? Who? Can resist? Tell me…" Don Paris Schlotman - guitar, vocals, synth/piano Tim Lavigne - bass Alex Cohen - drums Recorded and Engineered by Daniel Imana Lyrics & Composition, Production by Don Paris Schlotman ©2026 Don Paris Schlotman, Megahertz Donut, Erroebot Music, ASCAP https://megahertzdonut.com schlotman.com https://megahertz-donut.bandcamp.com/...
