A 1000 km ride through the kaveri delta - day 3 | RE Classic 350

Day three started late, and it showed. Broke camp, took a few wrong turns, lost about an hour, and finally reached Rajankudi Fort. Worth every missed turn. Ancient, weathered, and nothing short of majestic. Fuelled up the bike and myself, then pointed toward Mayil Ootru Falls. The road gave up somewhere along the way, so the last stretch was pure off-road. Then a 20-minute trek in, only to find a trickle of water. My bad for chasing a waterfall in summer. Took the dip anyway. Walked back to the bike and the bags were STOLEN. Everything. Kolli Hills planned for day four was off the table. So I rode home with a broken heart and a lesson learned: next time, better gear, locked down to the bike. The ride ended early. The adventure didn’t.
