Disneyland | Disney Paint the Night (70th Anniversary Version - Recreation)

In celebration of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration, the resort brought back the Disney Paint the Night parade in May of 2025. For the first time since its debut in 2015, the parade returned back to Disneyland park with the return of the Frozen unit which had last been used in 2016. For the 70th anniversary, new images were added to the drum unit and the anniversary theme song “Celebrate Happy” was mixed into the finale unit’s music. Fun Facts: The Little Mermaid Unit saw the return of its top portion added back onto the float which had been removed in 2018 when the parade moved over to Disney California Adventure due to Hollywoodland’s height restriction. The Frozen unit had not been used since the end of the parade’s 60th anniversary run due to the height restriction at Disney California Adventure as well.
