My Second PPG Training Flight | Takeoff & Landing

My second PPG training flight. I practiced a few low-level exercises and maintaining a constant altitude using throttle control, then took a short flight around the local area. I stayed in the air for about an hour, but I had forgotten my hearing protection and wasn’t dressed warmly enough, so the flight was much louder and colder than planned. The wind was quite strong—my ground speed dropped to just 9 km/h into the wind and reached 60 km/h downwind. I also encountered some turbulence near the airfield, especially in the lee of buildings and surrounding hills. Takeoff, training, a local flight, and landing—all included.
