Mathura is currently on high alert. A major disturbance erupted in the city today; stones were hurled at the police, forcing them to fire tear gas shells—and even rubber bullets—to bring the situation under control. The catalyst for this unrest is the death of "Farse Wala Baba," a prominent cow vigilante. The vigilantes allege that the Baba was murdered by cow smugglers as part of a conspiracy, whereas the police maintain that his death was an accident. The Hindu community in Mathura is outraged, and Chief Minister Yogi has now swung into action. CM Yogi convened a high-level meeting in Lucknow regarding cow protection and issued directives for strict action to be taken in connection with this death. Consequently, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to initiate stringent measures against cow smugglers; CM Yogi has ordered a statewide campaign to crack down on such illicit activities. The meeting was held at the Chief Minister's official residence and was attended by several senior officials, including the Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dharampal Singh. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos, visit https://www.indiatvnews.com/video or https://www.indiatv.in/video Subscribe to IndiaTV and don't forget to press "THE BELL ICON" to never miss any updates- http://bit.ly/2O2aC1J Download Mobile App: Link for Android device: https://bit.ly/2V2wnA3 Link for Apple device: https://apple.co/2EB9lKr Follow Us On: Facebook:   / indiatvnews     / indiatv.in   Twitter:   / indiatvnews     / indiatvhindi   About Us: IndiaTV is the country's most trusted Hindi News Channel.
