Ledger's Love - Bonnie Barnard & Randy Garibay (Official Audio) Written by Bonnie Barnard Produced and performed by Bonnie Barnard & Randy Garibay Written on a living room floor with a Gibson J-45 in hand, "Ledger's Love" was born in an instant while watching the film I'm Not There. The sight of him stepping onto the screen, hunching over, and pulling his coat on real tight was enough to inspire the whole song. Blending raw, fluttering Americana vocals with driving heartbeat percussion and atmospheric pedal steel, this track captures a tragic, fiery, and unforgettable spirit. About the Artists: Bonnie Barnard is an independent Americana film and TV composer and a Crucial Music artist. Her songwriting career began early when her song "A Girl's Got to Do" (written at age 16) was featured in a Ken Russell film called If You Can't Say It, Just See It, and her catalog has earned placements on Netflix series including Too Hot to Handle: Brazil. Randy Garibay is the son of the legendary Texas musician Randy Garibay Sr. A true music legend in his own right, Randy has sung harmonies on almost all of James McMurtry's records, including the acclaimed The Horses and the Hounds and he has toured extensively with and performed on David Letterman, Austin City Limits, and Farm Aid - sharing the stage at Farm Aid to sing alongside Jackson Browne and Joan Baez. He has toured with McMurtry, Nancy Griffith, The BoDeans, and The Indigo Girls, and serves as co-writer for the Bonnie Barnard & Randy Garibay project. LYRICS I've got wise observations about a man who I love he's with a crowd that you don't want to be a part of he's got whiskey on his breath and a cheshire smile to greet me with a voice that came from above He says come to me baby oh come to me baby with a righteousness I cannot fear He pulls his coat on real tight he says I might not be back again and that's the price you're gonna pay to be near me His kisses are like fire he's as passionate as gold he's wicked when he wants to be but to me he's my soul and I don't know why I'm telling you it's just the way that I roll these observations about a man who I love. You said you loved me yeah from the start you said you'd never ever break my heart you confuse me deliberately and then you want to see me I don't know what I 'm gonna do I've got wise observations about a man who I love he's with a crowd that you don't wanna be a part of he's got whiskey on his breath and a cheshire smile to greet me with a voice that came from above he says come to me baby oh come to me baby with a righteousness I cannot fear he pulls his coat on real tight he says I might not be back again and that's the price you're gonna pay to be near me his kisses are like fire he's as passionate as gold he's wicked when he wants to be but to me he's my soul and I don't know why I'm telling you it's just the way that I roll these observations about a man who I love and I don't know why I'm telling you it's just the way that I roll these observations about a man who I love 🌐 CONNECT & LISTEN 🎧 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/46e9tcS 🍎 Apple Music: https://apple.co/3BNOb9x 📸 Instagram: https://bit.ly/2WPGvNC 👤 Facebook: https://bit.ly/3EXh5EI 🌐 Website: bit.ly/49wtvC8 🔗 Subscribe:    / @bonniebarnard5843   © 2026 Bonnie Barnard & Randy Garibay.
