The troupe quickly became one of the leading folklore ensembles in Israel. The band focuses primarily on Israeli Jewish folklore. The band's repertoire is a collection of dances, songs and melodies of Israeli and Jewish folklore. The repertoire presents ethnic folklore of Jewish communities from Yemen, Iran, Turkey, North Africa, the Balkans, Romania, Poland and the countries of the former Soviet Union. In addition, the performance presents Israeli works with a Mediterranean character and flavor. The band's dances and songs are often accompanied by an orchestra of acoustic instruments, including: flute, clarinet, trumpet, guitar, accordion, bass guitar, and traditional percussion instruments. The band has participated in many folklore festivals around the world and has won several international awards. Band manager and producer: Itamar Madalal Musical Director: Dan Biron (R.I.P.)
