Königssee

The Königssee is situated south of Berchtesgaden in Bavaria, Germany. Surrounded by mountains, it is extremely picturesque. Electrically-operated boats run along its entire length. A popular stop on this journey is the St. Bartholomew Pilgrimage Church. At the south end a short trail leads to the Obersee, close to the Austrian border.
