Defying strict security measures, barricades, and administrative intimidation, a massive crowd of party leaders and activists has gathered for the grand rally organized by India's opposition alliance, 'INDIA'. The event involves a 'gherao' (siege) of the Supreme Court to press for various demands, including electoral reforms and the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Leaders of the INDIA alliance—including Congress's Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav, and Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee—have joined the protest. Earlier, Delhi had been virtually placed under lockdown, with paramilitary forces deployed alongside the police across the capital. Jamuna Television, also known as Jamuna TV, is a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel in Bangladesh.
