暮らしを楽しむために40代でセミリタイアしました。 今回から家のメンテナンスをしています。 まずは10年放置していた屋上のウッドデッキの塗装をしました。 電動サンダーなど初めて使う工具も登場します。 見積もりが甘く失敗して反省はしていますが、DIYの醍醐味と思っています。 猛暑が続きますが、無理せずメンテナンスを楽しみたいです。 皆さまもご自愛ください。 I semi-retired in my 40s to enjoy life more. I’ve now started working on some home maintenance. To kick things off, I refinished the rooftop wood deck, which had been neglected for ten years. I even used tools for the first time, such as an electric sander. I made some mistakes due to poor planning—and while I’ve learned from them—I consider that part of the real thrill of DIY. The intense heat continues, but I want to enjoy the maintenance work without overdoing it.
