Simply Red - Jericho (Instrumental Version) (Live in Montreux, 8 July 1986)

Killer cut from Simply Red's debut album 'Picture Book' performed live in an irresistible jazzed-up instrumental version, as played by the original formation of the band (with the impeccable Fritz McIntyre on keys, who unfortunately passed away in 2021). Stage is the iconic Montreux Jazz festival of 1986 in Switzerland. Musicians at play here (lead singer Mick Hucknall excluded): Fritz McIntyre – keyboards and backing vocals Tim Kellett – keyboards, trumpet, and backing vocals Sylvan Richardson – guitar Tony Bowers – bass guitar Chris Joyce – drums and percussion Ian Dickson – tenor saxophone Ronnie Ross – baritone saxophone
