Andreas Czechowski takes his Topcat K4X out solo on Lake Forggensee in southern Bavaria, Germany.
It starts with some great sailing and a lucky escape from a pitchpole — but later, a missed gybe leads to a capsize. Andreas then has to deal with the recovery, an unhooked mainsail and getting back to shore before setting sail again.
A great real-world look at solo catamaran sailing when things don't quite go to plan.
