Storm Austen in Sennen Cove Cornwall 23rd October 2026

Storm Austen arrived in Cornwall in the early morning of 23rd October 2026 and was given an Amber warning for wind by the UK Met office. I was out early to see the conditions at Sennen cove and have produced this video so that you can experience what it was like. In the video, after walking from the Beach car park along the front, I will take you up to the old coastguard lookout to see the mountainous seas, feel the gusts and taste the salt water spray! Then there will be a nasty surprise for me when I get home! Thanks for watching.
