Lowrider Day San Jose: Incredible Cars & Much More!

Hundreds of lowriders take over Santa Clara Street for San Jose Lowrider Day 2026 — pure culture, hydraulics, and Chicano pride on full display! San Jose Lowrider Day returned to downtown on September 6th as custom lowriders lined Santa Clara Street between 3rd and 7th in front of City Hall. This fourth annual celebration marked the anniversary of the City Council’s 2022 repeal of the decades-old cruising ban, turning the heart of downtown into a rolling tribute to Bay Area lowrider culture. From candy-painted Impalas and bomb-style classics to hopping hydraulics and chrome that catches every ray of sun, the street was packed with some of the cleanest builds in Northern California. Families, builders, and longtime cruisers came together for live music, local food vendors, community resources, and pure cultura. You can feel the pride in every car — this isn’t just a car show, it’s a reclaimed tradition that started in East San Jose neighborhoods and now stands proudly at City Hall. Watch the full walkthrough as we capture the best lowriders of the day, the energy of the crowd, and the spirit that keeps this community strong. We also captured all the beautiful ladies posing in front of these amazing cars. Whether you’re into classic bombs, modern custom rides, or just love seeing the culture celebrated the right way, this video puts you right on Santa Clara Street. 👍Tell us your favorite build in the comments, smash that thumbs up, and subscribe for more exclusive car culture coverage.
