Sorry if the timeline of my videos is a little all over the place. This video was actually filmed a month ago, and I’ve already finished my study abroad journey and returned to Japan 🇯🇵
To put it simply, it was the happiest month of my life!
When I was choosing where to study abroad, my agent actually recommended going to an English-speaking country instead of the Philippines. But now, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose the Philippines.
My weekdays were packed with English classes from morning till night, and every weekend, I explored different places and enjoyed Filipino food with my friends. I made so many new friends, including my first international friends, and every single day was full of new experiences!
But the best part of all was the time I spent with my seven amazing teachers. They were all so friendly, kind, and funny, and we became close like friends. Even now that I’m back in Japan, we still keep in touch and call each other. I’m so grateful I met them, and having people I love this much has given me a whole new reason to keep working hard. I can’t wait to see them again!
It was only one month, but being surrounded by English every single day gave me so much more confidence in speaking. Most importantly, I realized that English isn’t just something to study. It’s a way to connect with people.
This month gave me more memories, experiences, and meaningful connections than I could ever put into words. And it made me fall in love with English even more.
I’m so, so glad I decided to study abroad in the Philippines!! 🇵🇭🤙🏻
