The Dark Story of the Springfield Three — Three Women Who Vanished From a House Overnight

The Dark Story of the Springfield Three — Three Women Who Vanished From a House Overnight On the morning of June 7, 1992, a young woman walked up to a small house on East Delmar Street in Springfield, Missouri, and found the front door unlocked. Three cars were parked outside. Inside, she would later learn, sat three purses, with the keys, the cash, and the driver's licenses still in them. A little dog ran through the empty rooms, crying. The three women who had gone to sleep in that house a few hours earlier were gone, and everything they would have needed to leave was still inside. This wasn't three women running off together. It was a disappearance that, 34 years later, still has no explanation.
