Calvo to the river Wampool (Stage 8)

979,298 Steps to date Calvo to the Wampool Bridge 9.26 miles (stage 8) This stage was all road work and at times quite sketchy, with fast moving traffic plus farm machinery. It was basically route 72 (Hadrian's wall cycleway), so I was passed by a number of cyclist throughout the day. Thankfully the day was dry and once again I had a lovely tail wind. Sandra and I are going to walk around Talkin Tarn next,. after that, I'll then be in range to get to my million steps on the final stage around the Island to Bowness on Solway. Nearly there now !
