Lord’s Rake to West Wall Traverse

This is part one of a series of videos highlighting Lord’s Rake, West Wall, and Foxes Rake scrambles. This video covers the scramble to the West Wall Traverse turn off. I last went up Lord’s Rake 45 years ago as part of the route that I followed when I completed the Lakeland 3000s. Back in the day I remember it being an easy walk up to the summit of Sca Fell and walk back down to Mickledore before walking to the summit of Scafell Pike. Today due to erosion and the rake’s looseness I would not recommend descending the rake.
