The plaintiff took her car to the defendant’s shop to get the transmission fixed. She says her car has been in his shop for a year and she still doesn’t have it back, so she’s suing for the value of her car. The defendant argues he fixed the car but found other problems he needed to fix. He claims she still owes him money, so he’s countersuing for the repair cost.
