I'm back competing in another Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game tournament hosted by Aegis Esports, and this one was packed with some of the craziest moments I've had in a tournament so far!
There were 117 entrants, and I managed to finish 17th place, which is a NEW personal best for me.
But despite the improvement, I'm still not satisfied...
I was ONE MATCH away from making it out of pools.

This tournament had a little bit of EVERYTHING.
At one point, I had a ridiculous DOUBLE KO that resulted in a completely empty "nothing" round... only to follow it up with a PERFECT victory. 😂
I also managed to land a Level 7 Super on an Unbalanced Zuko, resulting in roughly 700 DAMAGE and an instant kill.
But one of the biggest tests came when I ran into Zane, who was coming off a tournament win and had previously finished Top 3 at CEO, playing Zaheer.
I ended up losing the set 3-1, but I was able to put up a much better fight and had some great moments against one of the strongest players I've faced.
And then there's the Azula player who REALLY wanted that rematch...
You can actually hear them mashing the rematch button during the win screen. 😂
Ultimately, I finished 17th out of 117 players, giving me my best tournament result yet.
But there's a frustrating part to that...
I was ONE MATCH away from making it out of pools.
So while I'm happy to see the improvement, I'm still hungry for more.
17th is a personal best.
But TOP 8 is still the goal.
Every tournament is another chance to learn, improve my Toph, and get closer to competing with the best players in Avatar Legends.
How far do you think I can go in the next tournament?
