Genos Origin story (A Fortnite Short Film)

Once a noble king, Genos ruled with honor and believed his kingdom would stand united for generations. But everything changed when his sister fell in love with a commoner, a man with no royal blood. To Genos, the relationship threatened the traditions and order he had sworn to protect. What began as a heated argument soon spiraled out of control. Consumed by rage and blinded by his obsession with maintaining order, Genos snapped. In a moment that would haunt the kingdom forever, he struck down his own sister. The instant her life was lost, Genos realized the horror of what he had done. Grief, guilt, and anger tore through his mind, but instead of accepting responsibility, he blamed the chaos of the world itself. In his eyes, pain, love, loss, and human emotion were flaws that only created suffering. From that day forward, the king died and something far darker was born. Genos abandoned his humanity and began walking a path of corruption, convinced that absolute order was the only way to save the world. He swore to forge a perfect reality where no one would ever experience heartbreak, loss, or suffering again. Yet with every step toward that goal, he became the very thing he once fought against. Now the fallen king marches toward his vision of perfection, leaving destruction in his wake. He does not seek power. He does not seek revenge. He seeks a world where pain cannot exist. And that makes him more dangerous than any monster. "Order is not freedom. Order is salvation.
