Rural Life | Part 8 — Bread & Ash

Welcome to another peaceful day of rural life in Iran. In this video, I start the day by cleaning the cows’ feeding area and putting fresh hay in the manger. After the cows finish eating, I clean the area under them. Then my mother prepares the dough for our homemade bread, while I go outside to water the land. After that, my mother prepares the ingredients for Ash, a traditional Iranian soup. Together with our family, we bake fresh homemade bread and enjoy it as a simple snack. Later, we prepare Ash for lunch and enjoy a warm homemade meal together. While the bread and Ash are cooking, I also feed our chickens, roosters, little kitten, and our new goats. A simple day in the village, filled with family, animals, homemade food, and the peaceful rhythm of rural life.
