Cutting Open Ammonites to Reveal Crystals Inside (Cretaceous) Part 1

Join me for some cutting of ancient ammonites to reveal crystals inside! This is PART 1 of 3 of this ammonite lapidary project. I was hopeful to get some beautiful details inside and I could NOT be happier with how these ammonites cut and polished! I used my 6" Hi Tech Diamond saw to cut these open with a thin sintered blade. I took the cuts super slow to make sure the ammonites did not break during cutting. After cutting and revealing the beauty hidden within, I polished these fossils and shared the results!
