Teen Class I Division 1: Starting With the SMARTA Template | ClinCheck® Comparison

Same patient. Different starting point. In this case, I revisit a teen Class I Division 1 patient I treated in my own practice and compare the ClinCheck® Treatment Plan I ultimately approved with a new simulation using the SMARTA Comprehensive Template. The goal isn't to recreate the treatment I delivered. It's to ask a more useful question: How much of the clinical thinking I eventually put into this case could have been built into the starting point? The SMARTA Comprehensive Template was developed to bring more of our treatment philosophy into the initial ClinCheck® Treatment Plan. Instead of relying on the same rules for every case, SMARTA uses condition-specific preferences and prescription rules designed around how orthodontists actually treatment plan. It doesn't replace clinical judgment. You still review the case, make decisions, and use 3D Controls where needed. The goal is a better starting point—one that already reflects more of what you would have asked for.
