Madou Sidiki Diabate, live with Travel Kora at Enkore

Madou came to the Enkore workshop in the middle of a cold french winter. We cranked up the heat and had a late concert. Despite an unusually strong snow storm blocking a number of people from coming the workshop was packed! What an honour to have a great musician like Madou Sidiki Diabaté! And as a luthier and amp maker, to have the man play his own freshly made Travel Kora through amplifiers made by the same hands in the same place is quite something! Since Madou’s kora had just been completed it had never been played, and it was the first time he layed his hands on it. Also the whole 2h30 show was easily amplified through 2 tiny CLASSIC and UBIC battery powered amps, for an audience of 60 peole in a large volume. 100% Enkore!
