How One Photograph Almost Destroyed My Reputation

I love street photography and my Fujifilm camera paired with a 27mm lens is my camera of choice. But recently I decided to try the Fujifilm 70-300mm lens. A lovely lens but it got me into trouble on a recent street photography walkabout. This is the tale of how one particular photograph almost destroyed my reputation. This in not a review of the Fujifilm XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM lens. The lens speaks for itself, its wonderful. But does it work for street photography? In this cautionary tale I will you about my experiences using the lens on the streets where I live.
