Enjoy a calm afternoon with the gorilla troop at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in this 15-minute video filled with gentle moments, quiet play, and one unexpected laugh. Most of the adults are relaxing side by side, while the little ones entertain themselves—either alone or in sweet, low-key interactions with each other. The highlight comes when young Kayembe decides to toss a clump of mulch right at silverback Mokolo. True to form, Mokolo barely reacts to the mischief—but a few minutes later, he gets up and slowly begins to move the group to the other side of the habitat. As always, the others take notice. The moms and toddlers follow without hesitation, while one adult—Tusa—stays off to the side, quietly avoiding the group as they settle into their new location. This peaceful video is a wonderful look at how gorillas spend their downtime, and how even a silverback's subtle movements shape the whole troop's rhythm.
