Homes, farmland, temples and schools are disappearing into the river, hundreds of families are being displaced, and every year the same promises are made while crores are sanctioned on paper, and nothing changes on the ground. Running through it all is the story of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, the man who became the voice of these villagers and was k*lled in a police e*counter on 17 June 2026 in Bhojpur, Bihar. Police called it self-defense, but the questions around that night still have no answers, and the demands these people were fighting for remain unheard. This is a story about disaster management, accountability, and the people our system fails every single year.
