1976 I 500 Snowmobile race from Saint Paul MN to Winnipeg Canada

This is a 8mm film of the I500 Snowmobile race from Saint Paul MN to Winnipeg Canada in1976 of Sandra Court number 36. We took a used 1975 Scorpion Whip and completely took it apart and rebuilt it. Turning a regular everyday sled into a cross country racer. 398 people started the race, 5 of which were women. Only 60 finished, 59 men and one woman. This sled is still in the family and has been shown in several central MN vintage snowmobile shows over the years exactly as it crossed the finish line. No restoration has been done to it.
