Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOD: In Desc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This "EXPANDED FANMADE" version of Sonic's Rhythm Rush was born out of my dissatisfaction with the various remakes and re-imaginings of the original mod. Most of them merely added character reskins and poorly made songs; aside from the Rebooted version another team was working on, there wasn't really anything good. So, rather than just waiting around, I decided to create an "EXPANDED FANMADE" version. The previous fan-made mod was too short, lacked songs, and became boring—even after the release of a so-called "v2," which felt like little more than a few minor additions (the only real highlight being the new sprites). It was arguably the most decent fan-made version available at the time, but still... The mod is currently 76% complete; if we finish the remaining work, we’ll release it. It aims to do justice to *Sonic's Rhythm Rush*—and to the terrible mods that actually inspired me precisely because they lacked substantial new content. My fan-made version doesn't have a massive amount of content, but it offers better quality and a more enjoyable experience. This fan-made version features 5 main Acts: Act 1: Miles "Tails" Prower Act 2: Knuckles The Echidna Act 3: Shadow The Hedgehog Act 4: Amy Rose Act 5: Dark & ​​Light Hero Chao The main mode also includes 4 additional weeks paying tribute to the cancelled *Sonic's Rhythm Rush*, featuring the original sprites, some new songs, and other additions. Once the campaign is finished, Freeplay mode offers extra content, including original songs, covers (mostly), and a few other tracks. The idea behind this mod isn't just to fix the errors found in the Sonic's Rhythm Rush remasters, remakes, and fan projects that have already been released—the teams behind those ongoing projects are doing great work, and I like what they've done. However, this project is an expansion of another fan-made version, aiming to create the definitive Sonic's Rhythm Rush fan experience. It incorporates elements from other fan projects that didn't get very far, as well as recovered songs from the original Sonic's Rhythm Rush and new recreations. I hope you'll enjoy this project once it's finished; it gives you something to play while waiting for the definitive, official revivals to arrive.
