It honestly feels weird because consulting was something I worked so hard for. As an international student, it was always THE goal. But over time, I realised it wasn't the right fit for me anymore. It wasn't just about work life balance - it was more about the lifestyle, alignment, and chasing something that feels truly fulfilling. Right now I don't have a clear next step - maybe content, maybe a new corporate chapter - but I do know that leaving consulting was the right decision! I'm not trying to bash consultnig at all; it's an amazing place to start your career for sure. But it's not for everyone forever - and I thought it's important to say that out loud.
