Ep. 31 Exploring Fremantle Icons | Prison • Markets • Bon Scott | Caravan Life in WA Last episode we meandered through six Wheatbelt towns on our way toward the Perth, taking the slow roads and enjoying the quiet side of WA. This week, we roll into Perth — the big smoke — for a bit of car work and a change of pace. Our base for this chapter is Banksia Tourist Park in Hazelmere. For somewhere so close to Perth, it gave us everything we needed and made a handy spot to explore from. From here we head into Fremantle: the old prison, the markets, and a visit to Bon Scott’s statue and gravesite. Back at camp, we waited for 4x4DNA Perth (‪@DASHOffRoad‬ ) to finish the work on our tow rig. And we keep the Same~Same but Different theme going with a couple of easy caravan cooks — Kung Pao and Meatball Subs. With our jobs finished in the city we keep heading south to a great free camp at Preston Beach. Thanks for travelling with us.
