#Fernwandern, #Sauerland, #Nordhessen, #Uplandsteig (ca. 67 km/ca. 1550 Hm), Etappe 3: Von Eimelrod nach Willingen (ca. 23,5 km, +600 m, -550 m) Am letzten Tag ihres dreitägigen Uplandsteigs starten die Wandersocken nach einer kurzen Bus-Anfahrt von Usseln in Eimelrod und erleben im Laufe der interessanten Etappe u.a. ein hochmotiviertes Pferd, eine Landschaft wie aus Grimms Märchen, wieder sehr unterschiedlich naturnahe Pfade und Wege, eine überraschende Pflaumen-Hecke, die kleine evangelische Kirche von Hemmighausen, eine liebevoll gestaltete Bushaltestelle, viele weite Panorama-Blicke, nette Pausenplätze, Vögel am Boden und in der Luft, ein freundliches Highland-Rind, die hübsche Dommel-Mühle, die Reste der frühmittelalterlichen Ringwallanlage #Schwalenburg, das einladende Café Waldesruh und einen letzten steilen Aufstieg in den Zielort Willingen, wo man sich noch ein kurzes Fazit der Tour und eine Seilbahnfahrt gönnt... Wandersocken on the Uplandsteig trail: Part 3 of 3 Long-distance hiking, Germany, Sauerland, North Hesse, Uplandsteig (approx. 67 km/approx. 1550 m elevation gain), Stage 3: From Eimelrod to Willingen (approx. 23.5 km, +600 m, -550 m) On the last day of their three-day Uplandsteig hike, the Wandersocken start in Eimelrod after a short bus ride from Usseln and experience e.g. a highly motivated horse, a landscape straight out of a Grimm's fairy tale, very different nature trails and paths, a surprising plum hedge, the small Protestant church of Hemmighausen, a lovingly designed bus stop, many wide panoramic views, nice places to take a break, birds on the ground and in the air, a friendly Highland cow, the pretty Dommel mill, the remains of the early medieval Schwalenburg ring wall, the inviting Waldesruh café, and a final steep climb to the destination of Willingen, where there is a short summary of the tour and a ride on the local cable car...
