Featuring an enlarged device interface, the system accommodates a wide range of autoinjector and cap geometries. Device-specific adapters securely hold the autoinjector throughout testing to ensure consistent, repeatable results and can be quickly exchanged to support different device designs. The automated test sequence includes: • Cap Removal Force • Activation Force • Audible Click Detection • Injection Time • Needle Depth Measurement • Delivered Volume Verification • Lockout Check (Pass/Fail) For autoinjectors that require partial rotation cap removal, the system can be equipped with Instron's Limited Rotation Torsion Add-On 3.0, providing ±90° rotational capability for both standard and large-volume autoinjectors. The torsional cap-removal sequence is fully customizable to meet specific device requirements and test protocols. For laboratories requiring System Suitability Testing (SST), a dedicated SST device is available for daily verification of the biaxial load cell, helping ensure reliable system performance, measurement accuracy, and repeatable test results.
