The Mundane & The Magic: Decorating My Altar for Litha ☀️ (2026)

Welcome back to The Mundane & The Magic. Join me for a slow, unhurried afternoon as I refresh my altar to celebrate the Summer Solstice, also known as Litha or Midsummer. There's no tutorial and no "right" way to do things here—just a relaxed look at my own seasonal practice and the little objects that have found their way into my home over the years. As I decorate, I chat about what the Summer Solstice means (to me) and how some pieces on my altar have come to me. Whether you're celebrating Litha yourself, curious about seasonal altars, or simply looking for a cosy twenty minutes to unwind, I hope you'll make yourself comfortable and enjoy spending a little time in my small magical corner of the world. Remember: this is my personal practice and perspective. Witchcraft is wonderfully diverse, and every altar tells its own unique story. ☀️ Blessed Litha and Happy Summer Solstice. ________________________________________________ If you want to check out my other socials: https://linktr.ee/masterful_maeve If you want to check out my website and other things I make: https://masterfulmaeve.co.uk ______________________________________________ Next Events! 28th June Rooks Den Parklands S & S Club, Doncaster, DN2 4LT 4th July Spirit & Wellbeing Grenoside Community Centre, Sheffield, S35 8PR 18th & 19th July Steampunk and Alt Railway Trust Ltd, The Middleton, Moor Rd, Leeds, LS10 2JQ 25th July Craft Market (Tarot) Market Square, Market Street, Sheffield, S13 7JX 1st August Rooksfest Corn Exchange, Doncaster, DN1 1NJ #Altar #Witch #summersolstice #litha
