Sudhagad

This is one of the famous ones, rightly so, given it’s incredible location, from the top, one looks down at a vast expanse of the Konkan, and looks up, directly at the Deccan plateau, without actually being a part of it. Several watchtowers are visible from here, making for formidable defences. The first plateau seems like the top, but there is more, a second, larger plateau is visible once you cross a folly, and past this is the main gate, which is by far one of the most impressive spaces I have seen in this region.
