Dirt Farm - can I do Full Moto? No (hospital)

Wasn’t riding at my best, but was starting to feel more comfortable ticking off new lines and features and getting into a bit of flow. But rushed into #fullmoto and made a silly mistake, ending with an awkward impact on my leg and a nasty break - a tibial plateau fracture with some bonus extra fractures in the vicinity. Very unlucky injury IMO, but it is what it is. Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who helped me, especially Ben and Megan (featured in the video), who were so kind and stayed with me all the way until I was able to make my way out of there. Also wanted to say thanks to the #dirtfarm team who were very sympathetic, helpful and professional. All in all, the experience makes me proud to be a #mountainbiker. Also need to shout out the #nhs, especially the orthopaedic doctors and surgeons at Watford General Hospital, who quickly identified the urgency of care I needed and had me on an operating table within 24h of my crash, and on my way back home again a day later. Special thanks also to the nurses and support workers who are stretched so thin and work tirelessly caring for people who are often in very bad shape. These people are true #heroes 💚
