Crop Walk with Tand Ukri in South Latvia featuring the Claydon 8m Hybrid Drill

SIA Tand Ukri is a pioneer farm which operates in South Latvia on 4500 hectares. They were the first Claydon customer in this country and started 10 years ago with 6m mounted drill. Initially this drill was bought for heavy clay parts of the farm. After a couple of years' testing the system develop by Jeff Claydon they decided to buy an 8m trailed drill and use the Claydon technique to establish crops on most of the farm. This 8m drill is covering 3500 ha each season and is proving to be a very reliable tool towards profit focused sustainable farming. At the same time Tand Ukri has achieved excellent results in soil health and is moving towards limited disturbance. However, the Claydon drill with its leading tine at its core is still used on most of the farm with clear benefits.
