MaGMML3: Checkmate (Full Stage, No Damage, Uncharged Buster Only, No Missed Shots)

Chess gets a little easier when we are allowed to shoot our opponents What Beth Harmon, Davie504, and Mega Man have in common? They all love to checkmate their opponents! And we’ll need all those good vibes from Netflix Queen’s Gambit + the CEO of Bass (and Mega Man) + Our beloved Blue Bomber to beat this chess-inspired level! Created by Aria, Checkmate is the 14th place entry in the design contest/fangame MaGMML3. Chess fans will appreciate the attention to detail, for example how pawn enemies’ first move is twice the length of their subsequent moves. They also will have to be ready for some tricky jumps during the platforming sections and a cool boss fight (Rook Man)! This is a Holy Trinity challenge (No Damage + Uncharged Buster Only + No Miss), but since chess nowadays is gaining huge popularity with faster time controls, with players like Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja wreaking havoc also in Blitz and Bullet chess, we'll jump on the speed bandwagon and beat this stage in speedrun fashion as well!
