This is a big update, bringing a refreshed interface, updated character art and animations, improvements to fishing and racing, a new cooking interface, exploration updates, performance improvements, and plenty of bug fixes. A Fresh New Look Many of the game’s menus have been refreshed, including the title screen, inventory, equipment, quest journal, save/load screens, settings, shops, and more. We’ve also added a custom pixel font, improved controller and keyboard navigation, and new display options like V-sync. Character, Fishing & Racing Updates Character sprites, portraits, animations, and follower positioning have received another round of polish. Fishing has a refreshed interface, updated artwork, and improved controls, while Racington now includes better out-of-bounds recovery and the option to race against eligible NPCs you’ve met along the way. Lots of Fixes Version 1.7 also includes fixes across saving, equipment, story progression, combat, controls, menus, fishing, visuals, audio, startup, and more. Early Access Reminder Version 1.7 is still an Early Access update and is not the full 2.0 release. Defeat currently returns you to your last save instead of taking you through the Echo Realm, and the remaining Echo Realm rooms are still inaccessible.
