A New Era in Logistics: LMI Holdings Unveils the Asikuma Port Project

LMI Holdings, through the TransVolta Logistics Network, hosted a high-level Joint Site Visit to the proposed Asikuma Port on 27th November 2025. The visit brought together key national and international partners—including IFC, VRA, GRDA, GPHA, and traditional authorities—to advance plans for Ghana’s first major intermodal port linking rail, road, and Lake Volta transport. The Asikuma Port will serve as a strategic hub for moving goods from Tema to northern Ghana and the Sahel, reducing road congestion, lowering logistics costs, creating jobs, and strengthening regional trade under AfCFTA.
