Jane Remover's FIRST SHOW (2022) - Cage Girl

On tour with Anamanaguchi, this was back when Jane still went by dltzk. I just remember when this album “Frailty” first came out. I was in a very formative time in my life, undergoing alot of difficult changes. I had never heard anything like it before. I was questioning if I even had a place in the music world, if anything I wanted to make was even worth trying for. But after hearing Jane’s music, I realized there’s so much sound out there left to be discovered. Her music whispered back my own thoughts so clearly, understanding in ways i thought no one could. This song is a perfect example of that feeling for me. It’s so deeply personal yet so true to life. I personally think this song should only be recorded on a shitty camcorder like this one, the one i got for christmas at age 8, the camera that steeps everything in a thick grain, the camera whose microphone blows out at anything louder than a reserved projection. It just makes the song feel even truer. Im glad i got to be there that night, and im glad i got to record this song.
