Wizard of Oz's Animatronic head on Wicked | VFX Notes Podcast

This week, Ian and I continue with a season dedicated to the Oscar VFX Bake Off. This time, we talk about the Wizard mechanical head sequence from Wicked. We discuss the physical side of these shots and have a great conversation about why, sometimes, a production chooses physical effects over CGI. We also got into a great discussion about the 'no-CGI 'debate. Enjoy, and thanks so much for supporting the show.
