Peter Langton travelled to Wakefield in Leeds to talk to Ava Laughton (no relation! and also different spellings) about her life, as. she started out as a able bodied person, and discuss her becoming disabled and what followed. Rare neurological diseases are a group of syndromes and diseases with a low prevalence in the population. Symptoms can range from mild tremors to significant motor and cognitive impairment. However, with Ava, it was of a minor surgery reaction that went wrong, that left her disabled.
