Leightonfield Station

🚆 Harry’s Train Vlogs are back, and today we’re stopping at Leightonfield Station! This little station in Villawood might be one of the quietest Harry has visited so far 👀 🚉 2 platforms but 4 tracks running through the area, with freight trains also using the rail corridor 🚆 We only saw ONE passenger train stop at the platform the whole time we were there! 👀 We did spot some old abandoned-looking trains nearby though, which definitely got Harry’s attention 🍔 Food options? Absolutely nothing 😂 But Leightonfield has a pretty cool history. It opened in 1942 during World War II, originally to service workers at the nearby munitions factory. And luckily for Harry… Cabramatta is only a few stops away, AKA one of his favourite places for a food stop 🍜🥟😂 #sydneytrains #nswtrains #train #trainspotting
