Inter Arma Crushed Chapel Hill — Now Give Them Bigger Stages!

Inter Arma absolutely crushed it at Local 506 in Chapel Hill. But after 20 years of delivering outstanding metal, this band deserves far more than playing intimate clubs to a handful of devoted fans. Somebody get the bigger promoters on the phone! These guys from godforsaken Virginia have earned their shot at bigger stages. If Inter Arma keep languishing in metal's third division despite the quality of their music, the band may not last much longer. That would be a damn shame. Time for the rest of the metal world to catch up. The Chapel Hill show was part of Inter Arma's 20th Anniversary East Coast Tour, featuring Antichrist Siege Machine on the first leg and Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean on the second. The band is celebrating two decades of crushing metal with a career-spanning set, including some songs that haven't been played live in over a decade. These are also Inter Arma's final shows for the foreseeable future as they head back to work on their sixth studio album. Remaining tour dates: October 12 — Baltimore, MD — Metro Gallery (with Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean) October 13 — Buffalo, NY — Mohawk Place (with Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean) October 14 — Worcester, MA — Ralph's Rock Diner (with Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean) October 15 — Brooklyn, NY — Saint Vitus (with Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean) October 16 — Philadelphia, PA — Nikki Lopez (with Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean) Twenty years, 900 shows, and a mountain of outstanding music. Let's hope the next chapter brings Inter Arma the bigger stages and recognition they've earned.
