Swimming With Thresher Sharks & Celebrating on the Philippines

After spending four nights in El Nido, we took a flight from Puerto Princesa to Cebu, where we got picked up by our private shuttle. Our driver took us to our first destination on Cebu then - Moalboal. Here we had scheduled six dives and with the legendary sardine run we became witnesses of something truly unique and amazing. As last destination, our adventure took us to the island of Malapascua. Here, we stayed for eight nights in total. We celebrated my brother's 37th birthday (or the upgrade to version 3.7), we celebrated our 100th and Laura's 50th dive and we also had the pleasure of diving with the thresher sharks, a very unique deep-sea species which comes to the surface early in the morning to get cleaned. All in all, there is not much more to say or do than just being grateful for yet another truly amazing adventure. Enjoy!
