Let her speak to you in her own words, encouraging you to trust in God’s love for you. In 1531, on a hill in Mexico, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Juan Diego. “Go to the bishop and tell him to build me a sacred little house here, where I will show my son Jesus to the people of this land.” The Bishop did not believe this Aztec peasant, until Juan Diego opened his cloak to reveal the image of Our lady of Guadalupe miraculously imprinted on the fabric. Finally convinced, the bishop obeyed Mary’s command. Our Lady of Guadalupe was responsible for the conversion of nine million Aztecs to Christ in just seven years. 500 years later, her image on the tilma (or cloak) of Juan Diego is still intact and venerated by 20 million people a year. #ourladyofguadaluperosary #LuminousMysteriesforThursday #SaintLukeProductions #holyrosary #rosarythursday #rosaryfortoday #holyrosarythursday #thursdayrosary #todaysrosary #rosarytoday #luminousmysteries #leonardodefilippis #praytherosarytoday #dailyrosary #todayholyrosarythursday #rosarythursdayluminousmysteries
