Heaton Parks 700th Parkrun | Running With Youtuber The Regular Runner

I headed to Heaton Park for a special event, the 700th Heaton Park parkrun. It was my first time on this course and only my second ever parkrun, so it felt like the perfect one to experience something new. Before the start, I caught up with Matt, better known as ‪@TheRegularRunner‬ . After a quick chat, I strapped on the DJI Osmo Nano for a full POV of the course, capturing every hill, descent, and crowd cheer along the way. This run wasn’t about chasing a personal best. It was about enjoying the atmosphere, soaking up the parkrun spirit and seeing what all the fuss is about. The volunteers were amazing, the support around the course was unreal, and Angina Hill definitely lived up to its name. Big thanks to Matt for the company and pacing tips. If you have never tried Heaton Park parkrun before, this is what it really looks and feels like from a runner’s view. *affiliate links below* 🟢 Need running fuel?
